An ex-reality star and notorious anti-vaxxer has leaked his private messages with Brooke Blurton after accusing the Indigenous Bachelorette of being 'silent' about the Northern Territory government's response to the recent Covid-19 outbreak.

Bill Goldsmith, 33, who appeared on Ali Oetjen's season of The Bachelorette in 2018, sent 26-year-old Blurton several aggressive DMs asking why she wasn't 'speaking up about the situation in the NT'.

Misinformation about the NT outbreak has been spreading like wildfire on social media in the last 24 hours, with conspiracy theorists falsely claiming Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel were forcing Aboriginal people to submit to vaccination, reports the ABC

Blurton, a Noongar-Yamatji woman and youth worker, was eventually forced to block Goldsmith, with whom she starred on the 2019 season of Bachelor in Paradise, when he kept sending her messages.

After being blocked, the 33-year-old responded by posting their private messages on his Instagram account, and wrote: 'I can't tag her but Brooke has since blocked me for calling her out about being silent about what's going on in the NT.

'The woman would rather post s**t promoting that rubbish flop of a TV show she is on rather than address what's happening to her people. The silence is deafening.'

The exchange began when Blurton messaged Goldsmith telling him to remove one of his videos he'd tagged her in that included misinformation about the NT outbreak.

'I see your point about the NT outbreak though considering you're anti-vax,' she said.

'We encourage everyone to get vaccinated to avoid death in communities. A lot of the people in community already suffer huge health problems. We want them to be protected against Covid-19,' she added.

Goldsmith then said: 'You should be speaking up rather than promoting some flop of a show.'

'How I use my platform is how I choose to do so if you're pro choice then you should be across that,' Blurton responded.

'Don't come at me when you know little to nothing about Aboriginal culture and think to tag me in your bulls**t attempt to be "woke" knowing and tagging only two black women? Bill I came to you with a considerate attempt to you to remove your post.'

The Northern Territory outbreak started when an infected woman illegally entered the Top End in late October. There are now 51 confirmed cases.

The 21-year-old lied on her border entry form before travelling from Cairns to Darwin after visiting Victoria, where she had contracted the virus.

She infected a man in Darwin before the virus spread to Katherine, then the Aboriginal communities of Robinson River and Binjari.

Restrictions have eased in Robinson River, 1,000km southeast of Darwin, where the lockdown is now a lockout of unvaccinated people.

However, Binjari, 330km south of Darwin, remains under an extreme lockdown order after nine new cases were detected there on Saturday.

While there has been some legitimate criticism of the NT government's response to the outbreak, there has also been a great deal of misinformation circulating online.

False claims are doing the rounds that Aboriginal people are being forced by ADF personnel to get the vaccine, and some Covid deniers have tried to compare transfers to the Howard Springs facility to the Stolen Generations.
